Organic Coconut Milk is a diary free and vegan cooking alternative. It is produced from the coconut kernel, and is used to enhance the texture and flavour of curries and desserts. Ultra Heat Treatment (UHT) Coconut Milk utilizes a short burst of high heat treatment to kill pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria in the product. It retains the natural sensory profile and nutrients of regular coconut milk.
Coconut milk has 5 common varieties of fat percentages – 6%, 9%, 11%, 17% and 22%.
Organic Coconut Milk has a shelf life of 24 months and should be stored in a dry, cool environment. Once opened, it must be refrigerated and used within 7 days.
The coconut milk factory is certified BRC, SMETA, ISO22000, USDA NOP, EU Organic, JAS, FDA, Halal and Kosher.
